Thank you for your interest in helping Outlook Video continue to present quality television programming to the LGBT community. Our show has been on the air since 1987, is currently in over 20 community access television markets, and has earned numerous awards in three different competitions since 1994.
As members of Outlook Video, we volunteer our time and monetary support, and are proud of our high quality program targeting issues, interests, and entertainment for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered audience. Additionally, we provide a venue for people to meet and interact, learn skills within the television broadcast industry, and have a good time in the process.
Why we need sponsors.
As in any volunteer organization, there are ongoing costs such as studio fees, broadcast fees, video tapes, DVDs, postage, PO Box rental, voicemail, and our website. The costs to operate Outlook Video are always very low, but they never go away. Without your help, these costs are paid for out of our members' pockets.
Public Access stations are a low cost way that people can learn to create and distribute programs about, and for, their community, but due to Public Access station rules, we're not allowed to advertise on our show. For this reason we seek sponsorships from individuals or organizations who wish to support and encourage our goals. Donations are tax deductible since we are a non-profit organization under the 501c3 designation of the Billy DeFrank LGBT Center. We can acknowledge your donations at the end of our show and on our website.
